OK... what happened is that I went to this restaurant with a friend. My friend ordered a "Greek" omelet and was served up an egg thing with meat it in. He is a vegetarian and didn't want it. The tattooed vision, our waitress, wasn't amused. She assumed he should have know that a GREEK egg thing would have meat in it. I wasn't paying attention... I was falling in love with the vision. Great tattoos and accent. So I combined the two stories together into a one person statement. Names have been changed to protect the innocent. Except for my name... no innocence here.

Blue Bird Cafe

I went out to eat the other day
I stopped by the Blue Bird Cafe
The waitress, she had blonde hair
She had a thousand yard blue eye stare

Look at this creature
Look at this creature

I fell in love with her tattooed arms
And her Ukrainian  vocal charms
So I ordered an omelet without meat
And that tattooed vision was back toot-sweet

One order of love
One order of love
One order of love
One order of love

One bite and I tasted lamb
Please take this back if you can
She looked at me with blank disgust
And said, Yeah Mister! if I must

The wrong thing to say
It was the wrong thing to say
The wrong thing to say
It was the wrong thing to say

If you go to The Blue Bird Cafe
Talk to the owner’s daughter, Anna May
She’s got no body art and she’s wide at the hips
But she always cheerful with a smile on her lips

Oh My God
Oh My God
Look at those tattoos
Oh My God
