Next One In Line To Die Painting
Next In Line To Die (with lyrics from The Hearse Song)

You laugh and laugh as the hearse go by. Did you want to be the next one to die
The next one.... in line to die. The next one in line to die
They wrap up your body in a bloody sheet & lower you down. Eighty feet
Eighty feet... in a grave... down in the ground
The graveyard is such a lonely place They lay you down and shovel mud in your face

A scoop of mud in your face. Mud in your face

Now pray for the dead and hope the dead will pray for you
They got nothing better Lord. Over there to do...

The light at the end of the tunnel glows. Like your favorite monster movie TV show
Your soul is heaven bound. While your body rots there in the ground.
They put you in that big black box and cover up you with a pile of dirt & rocks.
Your eyes drop out and your teeth fall in.  Lord stop me before I sin again
No more sin. No more sin No more sin

Now pray for the dead and hope the dead will pray for you
They got nothing better Lord... over there to do...

Your brains turn black and then you pray that the angels take pity on you today
Today... Take pity on me ... Lord, Today
You laugh and laugh as the hearse go by. Did you want to be the next one to die
The next one.... in line to die. The next one in line to die The next one in line to die
